Apiary grants 2020

Aug 20, 2020 · Beekeeping allowed in Overland Park and Prairie Village. Prairie Village has allowed beekeeping since 2015 and Overland Park has since 1983. Neither city requires a beekeeping permit. Prairie Village City Administrator Wes Jordan said the city had not received complaints about beekeeping that he knew of. As an association we formed the BFF (Barry Fingler Research Fund) to pursue research initiatives in a long term scale; a fund that could be accessed when needed for board approved initiatives. To date(Feb 2018) the fund sits at just over $130,000. As an endowment fund we need to break a somewhat larger margin to start more initiatives. Apiary Fund. Providing effective Forex education to new traders is Apiary’s primary goal. When we first engaged with them, it was clear to everyone that a rebrand was the most logical first step. We were also commissioned to build out a new website that showcased the gamified educational experience that sets them apart.

This crowdfunding page closes on Tuesday 26 May 2020. A huge thanks to those who donated to the Bee Project and helped get the apiary laid out and built. We have managed to secure grants for the Project to continue for the next 2 years so felt it only fair to close this page as there are so many other causes needing financial help. The SWCJCC is committed to the future of beekeeping and, in partnership with BDI, it has sponsored Ben Jones of the NBU in his PhD studies on honey bee nutrition.
